Submission update

It's been nearly 60 hours since my editor received the manuscript of The Eyes of Crow, and she has yet to appear on my doorstep to deliver her own personal Slap-O-Gram.

I was going to comment on your last post but didn't. I don't remember why. I think it might have been when Sharon came in to ask if I was going to bed any time soon (like she's about to do.... yep there she is. I'll be ready in a minute. And please don't read over my shoulder.)

Anyway, where was I.... I read the original post. Yeah.

Anyway. (I know I already said that dear.)

I've lost my train of thought entirely. You know who to blame.

Ah, hell with it. You put all this time and work and effort in and you're still not satisfied. That's why I think it will be very well received - you've worked that hard.

Someone is still trying to bug me (or whatever it is), so I'll cut this off here. Sorry I couldn't come up with more eloquent encouragement. As I said, you know who to blame.

Shame on Sharon. But worth it for the stream-o'-consciousness post. For a moment, I was right there with you in your house. In case you were wondering what that noise was.

Why shame on me? All I did was come in to check on him. Well, then, I sat there with my head two inches from his ear, breathing noisily. What's wrong with that?

The book is good, and you made sure of it. I hope your editor got a chance to read it over the weekend.

Thanks, Sharon. It's actually not real likely that she did read it already. I was exaggerating before. Editors usually take anywhere from 4-8 weeks to return a ms with comments, so unless the rest of her plate was clean, so to speak, she probably hasn't gotten to it yet.

Okay, this is my favorite verification word yet:

Uzimiffo!!!
