Romantic Times Booklovers Convention - Columbus, OH
Jeri will appear on four panels, sign books at Saturday’s Book Fair, and hang out with readers at parties and events at her favorite annual convention. Note: This will be the first public signing of Shade!
Jeri’s schedule:
- Wednesday 10-11am, “Buffy and Female Empowerment” — A discussion of the cult classic Buffy the Vampire Slayer and its effect on female empowerment in modern romance novels. Captain: Caridad Pineiro. Panelists: Vivi Anna, Cathy Clamp, Angela Knight.
- Wednesday 11:15am-12:15pm, “Would You Like Your Happily Ever After Now or Later?” — A panel of bestselling authors discuss the pros and cons of various types of paranormal romances, from stand-alones to series to serials. Captain: Patrice Michelle. Panelists: Ilona Andrews, Anya Bast, Eden Bradley, MaryJanice Davidson.
- Thursday 6:30-7:30pm, Not-So-Sweet Sixteen Booksellers Party — Sixteen popular and up-an-coming YA authors will host a party for booksellers. Tons of goodies and food!
- Friday 11:15am-12:15pm, “Fantasy and Romance: Two Flavors That Taste Great Together” — Cross-genre fiction is all the rage. We’ll discuss what’s hot, what’s not, and how to make your fantasy romance (or romantic fantasy) a big hit with readers. Captain: Ann Aguirre. Panelists: Leanna Renee Heiber, Stacia Kane, Jade Lee.
- Friday 2:45-3:45pm, “Kicking Butt and Kissing Heroes: Being Strong and Feminine at the Same Time in Fiction” — Panelists: Cindy Dees, Lisa Shearin, Linnea Sinclair.
- Saturday 11am-2pm, Giant Book Fair — Over 300 authors! Open to the public for a $5 admission at the door. Free for convention attendees.
